NYMEX Thursday Wrap: Oil plunges $2, nat gas drops
HOUSTON, October 11, 2018 (PCW) — November NYMEX crude futures settled down $2.20 at $70.97/bbl. December Brent at the close of the NYMEX decreased $2.83 at $80.28 bbl. The December Brent/WTI spread narrowed to $9.47 bbl favoring Brent.
Prompt natural gas futures were down 6.2 cents at $3.222 mmBtu. November NYMEX RBOB futures closed at $1.9327 gal, down 8.77 cpg.
November gasoline differentials were lower versus Wednesday’s level.
A3 CBOB 87 regular was lower at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
CBOB 87 was down at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
D3 CBOB 93 premium was higher at 15.75 cpg over the screen.
CBOB 93 was up at 15.75 over the screen.
RBOB was lower at 3.75 cpg under the screen.
The 3-2-1 crack spread in the Gulf Coast was $10.96 bbl, $4.84 /bbl under the screen. – John Troland
