US nonfuel use propylene supplies drop for second week
HOUSTON, September 12, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories fell by 25,000 barrels (-0.9%) last week to 2.807 million barrels, the EIA said today. It was the second consecutive inventory draw, but much smaller than the 325,000 barrel dip last week. Propylene inventories have declined in four of the past twelve weeks and currently stand just 13,000 barrels below the 52-week average.
Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization for the week ended September 7 was up 1.4 percentage points at 98.6%. -- David Barry
