US nonfuel use propylene supplies rise first time in six weeks
HOUSTON, July 11, 2018 (PCW) -- US nonfuel use propylene inventories were up 26,000 barrels (1.1%) at 2.350 million barrels for the week ending July 6, the EIA said today. It was the first inventory build in six weeks, but inventories are still down 626,000 barrels (21%) from their recent peak of 2.976 million barrels in late May. Propylene inventories are 17.1% below the 52-week average of 2.836 million barrels. Meanwhile, US Gulf refinery utilization fell off 0.6 percentage point at 97%. -- David Barry
